GOOD TO KNOW

QUESTIONS? WE’VE GOT ANSWERS.

Here are a few of the things students, families, volunteers, partners & supporters ask us most often.

Students & Parents
Tech Teens programs are designed primarily for teens ages 13–18. Individual workshops or special experiences may have different age requirements depending on the program.
Not always. Equipment requirements vary by experience. When registration opens, we’ll let families know exactly what students need to bring & whether Tech Teens equipment will be available.
Visit our Events page to see what’s currently available. If nothing is open yet, you can join our mailing list there to hear when new opportunities are announced.
Many Tech Teens experiences are offered at no cost to families because of sponsors, partners & community support. If a future program has a fee, that information will always be shared before registration.
Volunteers
Absolutely. Volunteer opportunities can include mentoring, event support, career talks, outreach, operations & other behind-the-scenes needs in addition to technical instruction.
Depending on the role, volunteers working directly with youth may be required to complete screening or additional onboarding before participating. We’ll explain any requirements when we discuss the opportunity with you.
Partners & Sponsors
Visit our Community Partners page to learn how schools, nonprofits, churches, businesses & community organizations can work with us.
Visit our Sponsorships page to explore ways your company can support programs, workshops, technology access & career experiences.
