Tech Teens Inc. is looking for a reliable, collaborative leader to serve as Vice Chair of our Board of Directors.
The Vice Chair will work alongside the Board Chair & Executive Director to keep the board engaged, organized & moving forward. This person should be comfortable supporting the lead, stepping up when needed & helping turn conversations into action.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support the Board Chair with leadership, planning & accountability
- Lead board meetings when the Chair is unavailable
- Help board members stay engaged & follow through on commitments
- Support fundraising, partnerships & community visibility
- Help identify opportunities, resources & connections for Tech Teens
- Partner with the Executive Director without managing daily operations
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who is:
- Dependable, organized & willing to take initiative
- A strong communicator & active listener
- Comfortable supporting a leader while also bringing their own ideas
- Able to step into leadership when needed
- Passionate about creating opportunities for teens
- Willing to contribute time, ideas, connections & support
COMMITMENT
This is an unpaid volunteer board position. The Vice Chair will attend quarterly board meetings, participate in occasional planning conversations & remain responsive between meetings when board input is needed.
