Why We Started Tech Teens Inc.

Hey y’all 👋🏾
Welcome to the very first blog post from Tech Teens Inc. We’re hyped you’re here because this is where the movement starts — for real.
Let’s keep it all the way real: most teens know how to use tech. We stay on our phones, scroll through apps, post on socials, play games, stream content — all of it. But very few of us are being taught how to create it, run it, or own it.
And when we looked around our communities?
The gap was way too big.
That’s why we created Tech Teens Inc. — to close that gap & build a new lane for teens to step into tech with confidence.
We’re on a mission to teach real skills, provide real tools, and spark real opportunities — especially for Black, Brown & underserved youth. We want y’all to know that tech isn’t some far-off thing that only certain people can access. It’s ours too.
We’re building programs that make tech fun, accessible, & powerful. Whether you’re into coding, video games, design, business, or just curious about what’s out there — we got something for you. No gatekeeping. No boring lectures. Just growth, support & a vibe that feels like you belong.
This blog is where we’ll:
• Share what we’re working on
• Highlight teen wins
• Break down tech careers
• Give tips to help you grow
• Feature dope folks doing big things in tech
If you’re a teen trying to figure it out…
